written by a woman, for women

In my research for this course, I heard the following:
- "Many think we’ll be off having children, or if we already have children, think we won’t be committed enough. I work harder than before I had my kids."
- "Other colleagues can talk over us without even realising it and they get the opportunities for promotion. We don’t."
- "When we’re older, we’re expected to retire, whereas our male counterparts are distinguished and experienced, so should stay on."
Many of us have also felt that nagging doubt:
- “Am I good enough?”

- “Will I ever get the promotion I deserve?”

About Maggie

This contributes to the strategic aim of increasing continuous professional development. Maggie understands the importance of good mental health and how coaching can lead to an increase in personal happiness and reduced stress. Having broken through barriers to become the first woman to chair her professional Institute, she has a unique skillset to offer. She provides an open, safe and confidential space to explore issues and let clients find their own answers by empathetic, attentive listening and insightful questioning.
